Showpony is a competitive place. It was just a couple of months ago that we announced Parris’s role as judge at the NY Festivals Global Awards, and now, Jamie’s having a crack.
Jamie will join the grand jury for New York Festivals AME (advertising and marketing effectiveness) Awards for the third year.
“I believe in the importance of creative effectiveness and the need to celebrate ideas that work, so it’s a privilege to read case studies from all over the world that showcase brilliant creative thinking,” Jamie said when interviewed by AME organiser Gayle Seminara Mandel.
“I enjoy reading about new approaches to communications problem solving, the clever use of media (particularly social media), and how cultural shifts can impact on the way we communicate. It’s also fascinating to compare approaches to advertising in a small country like Australia with countries with big populations like China, the US and Japan.”
