Note to self: when you get a finalist in a prestigious award show like the Caxton Awards for Excellence in Newspaper Advertising and the presentation night is in a tropical resort paradise and they even call you to ask if you’re going to attend given you’re a finalist and have a chance at winning one of 17 awards… you should go. The alternative is that you don’t go and hear third hand that you won and how even the people who didn’t win had the best and sexiest night of their entire lives.
